Rye Wine 2020

Herslev Bryghus has a proud tradition of brewing barley wine, and in 2020 we have expanded the tradition to rye. Rye Wine is a strong ale, aged in whiskey barrels and with the rich mouthfeel that characterizes these types of brews. The characteristic spicy nuances of rye expand the experience, and Rye Wine can be advantageously allowed to develop in the bottle for a few years. The taste will only become richer and rounder over time. It is a fantastic partner for dessert, both in the sweet caliber, or with good cheese.
