Chestnut Brown Ale (fustage, 20 liters)

Right in the middle between the rich dark beers and the refreshing lagers lies Brown. Ale , the classic and easy-drinking favorite, with a color like autumn chestnuts. And in the spirit of Herslev, we have of course refined the balance with organic crops, and used chestnuts in our version.

Round and full-bodied with a creamy head – and a real food beer. The great thing about our Brown Ale is that it goes with almost any food. But autumn's dark and intense meat dishes are especially good to pair with the rich malt character: braised beef shank or whole roast red deer sirloin with juniper berries and salt-baked beets and onions.
