The depth comes from the high alcohol content, extracted from the sweetness of the malt and balanced by the bitterness of Cascade hops and flavored with hints of star anise and coriander.

Stjernebryg is brewed like the monks' Trappist beer, brewed with Abby Ale yeast, which plays beautifully against the depth of the malt. The high alcohol percentage is softly rounded and 100% derived from malt.
