Rye Wine 2020

Herslev Bryghus has a great tradition for brewing barley wines, and in 2020 the tradition has expanded to include our Rye Wine. The bottle in your hand is a strong ale aged in whiskey barrels, with the full mouthfeel that characterize these types of brews. The rich experience is further enhanced by the rye’s characteristic spicy nuance, which distinguishes this from the more classic barley wines. The colour is dark honey, and allowed to develop in the bottle the flavour will grow richer and rounder over time. Drink it with good cheese, or enjoy as a dessert on its own.
